I tried the Traynor YCV Blue 50w amp a while ago, and I have to say I was very impressed. It is voiced a little differently from their YCV 40 Custom Valve, and sounds more towards a Marshall amp. Nice and punchy clean tones, and some serious lead tones when switch to the gain channel. It uses EL34 tubes.
The amp is built in Canada (Pickering, Ontario). This amp has two channels with independent Treble, Bass, and Middle controls. It also has a Boost switch on Channel 1, a Bright switch on Channel 2, a Master Volume and Reverb controls, and finally there is an effects loop. The preamp tubes has a DC filament supply, which will help reduce hum. The YCV50 Blue features Auto Balancing , meaning you can change output tubes without having to re-bias the amp. There is also a long 2-spring reverb tank, and a quality Celestion speaker in a sturdy plywood cabinet.
