Silent Night Guitar Lesson

I wrote this simple arrangement of Silent Night for my students. It's a way you can play the melody by using (mostly) just 2 strings at a time.

When you play a melody like this, by harmonizing the original melody, you create the effect where you can almost "hear" the chords.

This is also a good way to familiarize yourself with a major scale, in this case the G Major scale.

Have a look at this video, and let me know if you have any questions.

Let me know how you like this arrangement.

Musicians Friend has these really nice Christmas books

If you want to to learn more Christmas songs, I recommend any of these two. They are really good and the songs are not too hard to play either. Enjoy!

Great stuff Robert kind of reminds me of the tritones used in the Dream On intro but just with a different spin on the strings played.I will Definitely be working on this one.
Thanks and Happy Holidays,
Mark
