Learn The Christmas Song on guitar

Soon Christmas is all over us again, so what better can I offer you than a nice Christmas tune?

I made an arrangement for the popular song, The Christmas Song, you know, "chestnuts roasting on an open fire...". My students love the challenge of playing this tune, and I also play this tune with my friend Myra sometimes. Maybe you'd like to learn it too?

It's got a lot cool chords in it. Take a look at the PDF of The Christmas Song.

I would definitely recommend the Guitar Pro 5 version, since you can much easier follow along with this excellent guitar learning program.

Here is the Guitar Pro file of The Christmas Song. Let me know if you find any mistakes.

Download Guitar Pro

I highly recommend you buy Guitar Pro - it's the best software I have found for learning guitar tabs and chords. I try to make all my lessons available with Guitar Pro files. You can download a trial version on the Guitar Pro website to see if you like it (I think you will).

Hi Jim, I don't know what key it's supposed to be in. I just came up with that chord arrangement and thought it worked kind of well.

Hope you like playing it.

Thanks for 'the christmas song" pdf.
Did you change the key ?
I have the sheet music and really tried to play it this year but decided that Mel was diabolical.
Your arrangement might suit me better.
Thanks again,
Jim
