New Amp in Town

A friend of mine completed a hot rodded Fender clone for me.  The original design called for one 12AX7 Preamp and one EL-84 power tube.  About a 15 watt amp.  But it has been significantly hot rodded!  2nd gain stage for preamp with another 12AX7 and the power tube was swapped for a massive KT88-98 tube.  This amp is now a 23 watt power house.  So much so, it blew my original speaker cabinet.  Actually shredded the cone.  It looks like a Vox nightrain or Jet City Pico.  Sweet, sweet amp!  I can't wait to record some of it to share!

I had another tryout last night for another band, so I haven't been able to try the amp yet.  Tonight, I'll be hooking up my mic to the amp to share with everyone!

Couldn't get audio clips (the Mrs. was home tonight and she's not a fan of guitar amps).  Hopefull later this week I'll have some to share.
