John Suhr is a master at building guitars - incredible quality and sound.

Neck is 10-14" compound radius. It's a 60's vintage C medium neck - .830" to .950".

The neck is fantastic. Perhaps a little chunky - I could play easier on a slimmer neck but I love it still.

That is the one you wanted right ? If that is indeed the case, your playing will jump to the next level... Having what you have wanted and finally get helps you play better, IMHO....

If you ever want to change pickups, this is the guy to see...
http://www.amalfitanopickups.com/
He wound me a p/u for my Esquire at a insane 17.7 K, a very hot p/u. Sounds amazing and he has sets for strats, check out the people who use them. He will not let you down, amazing products. Maybe he would let you try a set for review, you will not be dis-appointed. Hand wounds win hands down.......

Change pickups? Have you gone crazy? Just kidding, but the fact is that the Suhr pickups are some of the best on the planet. I have tried a lot of pickups, but these ones.... oh man it's insane how good they sound! They have that vintage tone but a little more "modern" - rounder and fatter but still just incredible.

You can buy them separately of course.

Yes, it is the guitar I wanted and I am in heaven now.

I'm jealous...I'll be looking for a strat-style guitar this summer.  Congrats.  My budget won't allow a Suhr or Tom Anderson, but I may be able to pick up a used MIM Strat to play around with.   I've got a few replacement pickups and misc. parts that I could make one heck of a nice stratocaster with.

Maybe I should build one?

hmmmm....wife is going to love this idea... (not).

It's the best guitar I have, and one of the best I have ever played, to be honest. I consider myself very lucky with this buy, and I don't think I will ever sell this one.

That's a keeper Robert.  I've played one a couple of times around the same time I played a Tom Anderson strat.  I was so impressed with both instruments.  That was quite a few years ago when I actually had the cash to pick one of them up but I wasn't playing at all...yes, I'm kicking myself for not doing it.  The day will come again.  I love white strats...something very classy looking about them.
