Yeah, it's great to have child take interest in music like yourself. It's even better when they stick to and grow with it to the point you get to play along with them.

My oldest daughter(30) has been learning guitar for a while and she sometimes asks for tips, etc.
I've tried to get my son(11) interested in playing music but he's not too interested. My youngest daughter(21) doesn't seem interested in playing either.

Oh well, one out of three isn't bad.  ;D

Looking forward to the pics if you're able to get some, hagarfreak.

My daughter is getting to be quite a drummer and she plays some guitar too-funny thing is she learned the guitar from Youtube-she only asks me when she needs chord help or scale stuff.. I had her in camp jam a few years ago i have a video of it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpsSGCQA2_Q

My soon to be 9 year old wants to be a famous singer he writes his own songs we recorded a some of them over the years

It went pretty good =the snow delayed the show a week and the singer and bass player we had could not make it, but my daughter found 2 more kids and with no rehearsal together what so ever-lol we all played the same notes :) 1 little amp malfunction on my part-sometimes you have to kick my Crate amp to start it up again.they video taped the show and when i get the dvd i will post it here if you want to see it.
nice church=it had a full stage and lighting.

Sounds like it came off well despite the minor setbacks.  :)
