i'm originally from the south ( born in Bama and lived in ga and tenn and for a while saint paul ) now i'm in Canukland. I am very basic i can do about 10 chords without losing rythym and i read tab a lot. Would pay for videos or lessons if i had the money lol. but i don't

Where in Canuckland are you at? I'm in Camrose, Alberta.

My suggestion is to not focus on tab so much. You can start with a few chords from a song book like Beatles or something not very hard, then spend time playing along to the original recordings. That's how I learned to play.
