I want to make my own recording studio but i was told if i run a drum machine from the same power socket as the mixer i would get clicking in the recording. is that right? If it is right , is there a way around it without having another power socket available?

I doubt that would happen. Sounds like a myth to me!

This doesn't answer your question directly but you could use a recorded drum track or software and I would think that would eliminate any problems like you're asking about.
