My brother ecently installed Dimarzio Area 61 pickups in one of his strats.  I was amazed how great they sound.  They do the SRV thing really well.  Lots of the "chimeand quack" and plenty of output.  I was never a huge fan of Dimarzios until these.  Great pickups.

I have known for a long time that DiMarzio make some killer pickups, not just for shredders. I have Virtual T pickups in my Squier Tele, and I love them.
