I'd like a used 15-30 watter with a 112 configuration. Tube. Giggable, jammable, lighter weight. I want it dirt cheap, so blues jrs are out. Been checking ebay every 10 minutes. Any ideas?

Not a 112, but a nice amp nonetheless - Fender Super Champ XD. About 200 bucks less than a Blues jr. plus it has 16 modelling amp selections, some effects (reverb, flanger, vibratone, delay, etc.) all digital , but it has tubes in the output section, which gives it an all-over excellent tone. I have one and I love it. I've read well over a hundred user reviews on different online stores and forums, and it has pretty much an approval rating it seems to me, of about 97-98%. The only negative comments I've seen weren't all that negative either, they weren't saying it sucked ior anyhting, just that it didn't appeal to them. You should at least give it a look-see.

Hey, I got an idea, hows about an Epiphone Valve Sr. Combo? It's 20 watts (hey), it's got a 12 incher (hey), it's all tube 6V6 power (hey), it's giggable (hey), And it doesn't weigh a ton. http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Epiphone-Valve-Senior-20W-1x12-Guitar-Combo-Amp?sku=620579. And I know how you can get one for even less.

I know you got one. You're selling? I'd be very interested if I can get this by my wife.

Under $500 for a decent little tube amp? Not too shabby. I could live with that very easily. Some people prefer El-34s, some 6L6, etc. Cool thing about those is, if you are adept at electronics, you "could" set it up to run whatever power tubes you wish. It sounds nice as is, but would be a great little platform to experiment with too. Around $300 for the head alone...I must drop a hint to my wife (my birthday is next month ;-)

People seem to dig the Jet City amps hard. I think I might get one too.

I've been checking some demos out on YouTube and they look very promising. Sould nice clean and overdriven, affordable; what more could you ask for? When the need arises, I may pick one up the head and build my own cabinet for it...hmmm...maybe a 2x12 and a 1x12 for a little change of pace. A local guy in my town designs/builds BrownNote amps. They're not cheap, but not as expensive as a Dumble. Very nice amps and do the Dumble thing extremely well...VERY. My brother owns a couple of them and I've put them up against some really nice boutique amps and they hold their own and then some. Too much fun.

Jet city is still out of my range.
I'm looking at crate v3112
Bugera v22
Blackheart handsome devil
I've seen all of these as 112 combos for 350 or under
The epiphone valve sr looks promising too but I have not seen them on the market yet.
Any opinions?

The Peavey Winsor Studio 20 watt, 1x12 Combo is an okay pick, if you like an amp where "clean" headroom is NOT one of it's attributes. Other than that, it's a decent amp with a built in attenuator.

Yeah that studio 20 might be good. clean headroom is kind of an issue. I picture myself being able to clean up with the volume knob on the guitar and then crank for leads, but on my budget that may be difficult to do.

You might wanna reconsider on the 10" combos. There's alot of potential there, not to mention the fact that you can get decent lows outta them as well as good mids and highs. One to think about if you can find one, is the Pignose G40V Tube Amp. Here's a sample: http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/nva/msg/1652901954.html

What is your budget? Does it have to be a combo?
