Got a decent road bike to get a little exercise.   My tendon just kept giving me problems when running.  Biking is a little more involved since you need the bike shorts, shoes, and bike and stuff.  It is the best bike I've owned and pretty fun to ride.  It has to be fun or I won't be motivated to keep it up.  Loads of bike riders around here, so I should have no problem finding people and events to ride in.

hey sven, glad to hear you got a bike, biking for the most part is so enjoyable that after you build up your endurance, you can go for hours without even thinking about the time on the bike. I for one ride the bike for about 99% of my daily transportation needs and have been doing so for over 15 years. Of course life style is a bit different here, but change in peoples attitude is all what is needed. Once on a bike and you enjoy it, its hard to get off it  Grin
