These are back at the blowout price of $129.99 at MF and GC. I've had mine for about two weeks now, and I can't understand why they are selling for so little. Maybe a quality control thing, but mine is almost perfect. Here is a copy of my review from the MF site...
This guitar offers a lot of bling for the bucks. The craftsmanship is VERY GOOD. Intonation is good. The tuners are Gotoh style and hold just fine. The action was slightly high, but there was a small factory shim under the saddle. After removal the action was fine. No string buzz. I used Elixir extra lights and will change to regular lights after the guitar settles in some.
NOTE: Mitchell does not recommend heavier than medium gauge strings on this guitar.
The only thing I would change on this guitar is an upgrade to wider fretwires at some point. Also, the existing fret ends could use a little dressing, but not bad at all. The only other thing was the bridge/end pins, which I replaced with Martin pins with abalone inlays.
Fits great in the Musician's Gear Deluxe tweed case!
Solid spruce top, rosewood sides/back, mahogany neck, abalone rosette/purfling, rosewood cap on the headstock, gold tuners, compensated saddle...What's not to like!
