Good stuff, reb.

I really like the one titled Smooth. Is that backing track one of Roberts or did you snag it off the web somewhere?

pic, that's one of robert's. i wish i knew the name, but i downloaded those off the net perhaps a year or more ago...and burned them onto cd without any identifiers.

there is one i want to put the words 'well alright...ok...you win...i'm in love with you' to...the tempo is alot faster than ella's...but...it fits imo:

i kinda don't like the idea of ripping off ella's words and robert's track, though...:)

glad you enjoyed the music, pic :) thanks for the kind words.

Good job done on Ol'Sally and Smooth - very enjoyable listening.  :)

Missed spotting the Ol'Sally post before - sung with great conviction and works well with the lyrics.

You sound right at home with two very contrasting styles of music.

If of interest to anyone the backing track for Ol'Sally is 'Monkey Paw' - Pete Anderson.

Instantly recognisable and one I've never been able to get to grips with.

thank you, VB!

i had no idea that was a pete anderson arrangement...no wonder it sounds so good to me :) it's got kind of a rockabilly beat at fast tempo.
