Tar Heel salutations!

A big HELLO from the sandhills of North Carolina!

I've been pick'n & grin'n since the age of twelve and it has alway been a true joy for me. I've played night clubs, Church events, weddings and a high school prom (not necessarily in that order) but never saw a good living from it. One wife, five kids, a "real job" and 26 years later has worn much neglect on my guitar playing prowess.

I still pick it up as often as I can and try to share my love of music with my kids.

I never knew about the forum until I got an email about the change. I am thrilled to be a part of it!

I think very highly of Robert's opinions of equipment and tools. I ordered that v-pick he featured recently and just love it. I recommend dolphinstreet.com to everyone who says to me "Hey Sam, when you gonna teach me to play?" It's an awesome site you got here  ;)

Welcome! I figured many of visitors missed the forum, which is why I sent out a message about it when I updated it. I am glad I did - you confirmed my suspicions about not being aware its existence.

I am glad you like what I have done with my site. Thanks for the support and a warm welcome here!

Its nice to hear people never give up their passion even when "real" life gets in the way.  I might be ordering a V pick today based upon Robert's review of the pic.
