a neutral stance which saves much grief is to judge people based on actions, not words.  people tend to lie when they talk, even if they don't mean to...but a lot of them mean to lie, too.  whatever is in a person's self interest should be suspect...and your suspicions will usually be rewarded with the truth.

why not cut the woodpecker in half, say 120 bpm, and start from there?

I wrote this in 2008. It took me a good while to decide I was going to sit for 2 hours to record it, and then another good while to get the recording to sound 'level' across the 30 minutes of recording. It's the first recording at the top of the soundcloud page, title 'The Cave':

i may have posted about this site before...some of these might be a revelation.  tracks are isolated to some degree, so you can answer the question'what did they play or sing?'.  sometimes, i hear something that makes me go 'they paid this individual MONEY for this?' definitely a learning experience:

for those of you with not enough to keep you out of the bars and out of jail, stew-mac is marketing old jhs pedals as kits:

i got to think about this pro-co rat clone.  i like the 'model' i have of the pro-co in a zoom multi.

robert, when i lived almost as far north as you are, i had a russian hat made out of black rabbit fur. i cut my hair short, as it's nothing but a nuisance....but my head was always cold from november to march or april up there.

dunno if the buckers get cold, tho.  maybe saw buckers do. :)

function, not form for me.  i don't care 'how pretty it is' if it don't perform, so, i got some buckers in a box...and they are covered and uncovered...but they're in a box coz they sounded like..ahem...

having said that, if it's purty and it performs, man, that's OUTSTANDING! ;)

whussat? :)
