Transducers and soundhole pickups
« on: May 15, 2014, 11:26:38 PM »
Anyone have some pros and cons on acoustic transducers and/or soundhole pickups? I'm looking for the most natural sound, of course, and want to avoid the under saddle transducer/onboard pre-amp option.

I'm leaning toward the button style soundboard mounted types.

I have a bad experience. Sound was lousy, feedback was easy. Cant remember the make and model. it was a type you clip on the soundhole edge. I think it can be only a reinforcement tool, where the only important thing is to be heard, regardless of quality.
