This is a Pink tuner! Is it really a pedal for a real man? Haha! I'm not crazy about the color, but it performs well. Fast and accurate. It uses LED's, and as you get closer to being in tune, the red LED's slow down more and more. When you are perfectly in tune, the red LEDs turn to one solid green light. Perfect.
It also has a mute out, so when you engage the tuner, there is no sound coming from the amp. Great for live performing. I had some issues with mine (I got it used). It didn't work well with my One-Spot adapter. It would make a loud noise when engaged, and the power came and went, etc. I had to resort to batteries, and now it performs really well. I am super impressed with how long the batteries will last. It seems the battery is not being used one iota if you don't engage the tuner, which is more that I can say about pretty much any other pedal I own. Still, I'd preferred to be able to use the tuner with my One-Spot adapter.
I find that it is slightly big for my pedal board. I would have preferred it being a bit smaller. I mean, it's just a tuner!
I must that overall, I am content. The size and the battery issue are the only drawbacks - other than that is great. What about the color? Well, I am a man who ain't afraid of the color pink - are you?
