Guitar Lesson Overview
Here is a short blues rock lick that can come in handy. It has 6 notes, and if you play it repeatedly, it sounds really cool. because it won't start on the same beat every time. I love doing those kind of licks, since the displacement feature of the phrase makes it much more interesting to listen to. It's one of these type of licks you can use to give you a break, so to speak, when you are playing lead guitar. Grab the files below too.

John, The reason I use the ring finger for the 15th fret is because it is much stronger and more accurate when doing fast pulloffs as well as bends. I never use the pinky for any bends, because mine is too weak for that also not as accurate/controlled. Hope that makes sense.
If I didn't to that pulloff on the 15th fret on the B string, I would not use the middle finger for the bend - I would just use the ring finger for that bend on the G string on the 14th fret.
There are no right or wrong ways to play - whatever is easiest and most effective for yourself, that is the way you should do it. Anyone who tells you anything else is full of crap.
