Bluesy jazz chords, or jazzy blues chords?
Ways to play blues with more variation in chording - a more jazzy style of playing rhythm guitar over a blues. In the key of A, but practice it in other keys too.
If you have not yet tried the web site JamPlay, you need to check it out. They have kindly offered a special 7 Day Free trial to visitors of Dolphinstreet. I have reviewed their site, and I have to say it is VERY impressive. So much good material to learn from.
JamPlay has over 535 hours of lessons, and currently 45 different teachers. The lessons are from 15 minutes to 1 hour.
The lessons come with printable materials and supplemental content - TAB, chord charts, exercises and a lot more. Here is an overview of some of the things you can learn at JamPlay.
Go ahead and give it a try, it is free for 7 days so you have nothing to lose.

Comment added on September 15, 2010Hey, just stumbled onto your videos via "you tube". I like your approach to basic theory! I will be exploring much of your site. I've always held back on the concepts of theory however, having seen a lot of people blow past me, I realize the need for it!
Comment added on February 19, 2009Can you put up the tabs for the chords you are playing? You explain the first 2 well but on the third one (Em)and thereafter I am a bit confused! Thanks
Comment added on December 18, 2008very nice and clear video i was looking for this from ages and seems like you can also jazzy up with some mixolydian scale!
Thank you
Thanks, Mark! I truly appreciate hearing you say that. I am glad I could help in some way.
Comment added on July 07, 2008I enjoyed your guitar video instruction. You are very clear and easy to follow in the videos. Your verbal explainations are easy and concise. I the videos you have that relaxed and unique talent to communicate with your students. I am a beginer guitarist. I have 5 months experience (actual accrued playing time). I thought it must have been important to know everything on music theory before I really wanted to mess around with the guitar. It was quite like that but my emotional desires were concreted with ergent priority with the books. Oh, ...I needed every guitar book in the land. I have been teaching myself when I have time. Summary: I have read and studies many guitar books and have been to many websites. You are by far TOP PAGE!
