Guitar Lesson Overview

Here is a great lick that uses triplets. This blues guitar lick sounds good fast as well as at medium tempos, and it's not very difficult to play either. I use hammer-ons and pull-offs in a specific way, so that the lick flows better and the timing is good. Pay attention to what my right hand is doing. This approach I personally find much better than alternate picking. That is, because it sounds more interesting, it is easier to play, and the timing becomes more accurate.

Alex, it is always better to focus on learning something well before moving on to other things. Spending a lot of time playing things so-so and not learning it well is a waste of time.
