This lesson first shows you the Dorian scale in the key of A. Then, it shows how the Pentatonic and the Blues scale relate to the Dorian, and finally it shows some examples of how you can combine them and improvise with them. This lesson assumes you are somewhat familiar with the different scales. Emphasis is on how you can combine them as you improvise.

I have 2 Guitar lesson DVD you can buy for only $21.99 - shipping included to anywhere in the world.
I have lots of gear demos too on this site. Go and take a look at some of my Guitar Videos for some examples of gear I use or have used.
Hi, the lesson shows how you can mix these different modes.
The scale is simply like the natural minor scale (Aeolian) but with raising the 6th degree of the scale.
Hope that helps.

My comment is about the
"Dorian Scale Video Lesson"
I checked my "Hal Leonard Guitar Scales Poster" and a Guitar Book by a Berklee College Music Graduate. Both the Poster and the book have the same Dorian scale. The Dorian scale that is portrayed in the video you posted is incorrect according the book and the poster. Please fix this or explain it to me.
