Brown Eyed Girl Video Lesson

Guitar Theory Made Simple!

Understanding I-IV-V is an intensive 65 minute video that will give you a crash course on guitar theory. It is not a complete lesson on music theory. Instead, this is the perfect introductory tool to get you started on the guitar, or to reveal the secrets of the fretboard that you are not aware of yet. You will learn why chord numbers are far more important than chord letters, how to write your own songs and chord progressions effortlessly and endlessly, and much more.

Guitar Lesson Overview

Play the intro lick to Brown Eyed Girl.

This is how I play the intro lick to Brown Eyed Girl (BEG), by Van Morrison. It uses double stops to create the intro melody. A classic song, always comes up at jam sessions!

Very good lesson and does not at all require tabs to follow. Very nice explained. Thank you very much!

Good lesson but requires a tab to explain. It's quite tedious to follow otherwise.

Hello
Thank You for your Great Guitar lessons. I sometimes have trouble learning the lesson. I seem to have to rewind quit often, & sometimes get a little frustrated. Is it possible to receive some kind of tablature along with each popular song. I am interested in most of the ones you teach, especially the S.R.V. songs.
Thank You Darrell
