Here is an example of my hybrid picking approach. I use it in several ways, and this example shows how you can use a flatpick and your middle and ring fingers to create a hybrid finger picking technique. The chords I'm using are in a way hybrid chords themselves. They all use the open G string, so there are only 2 notes that change for each chord. Works well to play over a G groove.
