This one is very similar to the Charlie Parker chromatic lick I showed on Dec 20, 2006. This one sound more bluesy though, and I bet you have heard many guitar players play this lick, in one variation or another. This lick would work equally fine for either a jazz blues or a more straight blues. Again, this one is in the key of E.
