Funk guitar is fun. Here's a fairly typical funk groove, or at least it's typical for my funk playing. It's based around an E9 chord, a very common funk chord. The inversion of this E9 is: 3rd, 7th, 9th and 5th on top. Nice chord to know anyway.
I created a little quick loop through my MacBook Pro and Garageband - fantastic combination for getting some jam tracks going fast.
