Chicken Grease Funk Video Lesson

Lesson Overview

Chicken Grease funk rhythm is cool. James Brown used this idea a lot in his music. The idea is to play 16th notes unmuted, but you accentuate certain notes to make this cool sound. Here the chord is an inversion of an E9.
