A simple way to play Silent Night on the guitar. It doesn't matter if you use an acoustic or electric guitar. In this video, I am harmonizing the melody, which means we are using one extra note in the melody, (mostly using 3rds). This way, you can almost hear the chords in the melody, since harmonizing with 3rds creates such a strong sense of the underlying chord.
I highly recommend you buy Guitar Pro - it's the best software I have found for learning guitar. Many of my lessons come with Guitar Pro files. You can download a trial version on the Guitar Pro website to see if you like it (I think you will).
