Distortion vs. Overdrive Video

I have a Zonkin' Yellow Screamer (ZYS), which is a BYOC Tubescreamer type of pedal, and a Rabid Rodent, which is a BYOC distortion peday based on the ProCO RAT. This demos shows how in what ways they sound different from each other. BYOC stands for Build Your Own Clone. These pedals were build by my friend Bob at DuhVoodooMan.com. Besides demoing DuhVoodooMan's great pedals, I also think this makes for a good demo of the differences between the effects Overdrive and Distortion. Beginners often ask this question, and it sure is not easy to explain with words. This video can help clarify the differences between an overdrive pedal and distortion pedal, in terms of how they sound.
