Playing guitar through your iPhone and getting good tone - is it really possible? As a matter of fact - I will have to say YES! Here is a demo of the iRig. This was the first time I ever played through the unit. I set up the camera, looked at the virtual knobs and tweaked them as I went along. The sound is quite good for an IPHONE AMP! It's not like it's going to replace my M9 or anything - it's not quite comparable to a such a dedicated multi effects unit, but as a practice tool, it's definitely worth the money. I was able to get some nice overdrive tones going, and later in the clip, I play some half-open chords that sounds quite classy, I must say. Check it out. | |
