The Hagstrom Swede is great Les Paul style guitar. It is made out of Mahogany, and it is a bit heavy, but not overly so. The fretboard is made out resinator, a pseudo-ebony material. Really fast fretboard and neck. This guitar has a filter toggle switch, which gives a subtle wah effect when in the down position on the bridge pickup. On the neck pickup, it creates a deeper tone with a lot treble removed - good for jazz tones. It is a great guitar for blues, rock, jazz and even country. The pickups are simply fantastic!
