Nope, that is not true. The reports of his demise are greatly exaggerated and untrue. Apparently, a blog post somewhere claimed that the New Jersey singer had died from cardiac arrest.
Bon Jovi replied by posting a photo of himself on Facebook holding a hand-written sign where it said, "Heaven looks a lot like New Jersey."
The 49-year-old rocker had also added the date, Dec. 19, 2011.
The fake blog post reported that Bon Jovi was "pronounced dead today after paramedics found him in a coma at his Empress Hotel." The post claimed that a 911 call had been made from the rocker's home, and when paramedics arrived, he wasn't breathing. According to "sources," the paramedics performed CPR and Bon Jovi had suffered cardiac arrest.
These kind of faux stories about undead celebrities is not uncommon. Other famous people such as Lady Gaga, Justin Beiber, Eddie Murphy, Morgan Freeman, Harrison Ford and Jeff Goldblum have also received this kind of treatment in the past. Just makes me wonder what kind of individuals feel need the need to post such information online. Perhaps it's some nut case wanting to create a lot of buzz in their sad little life.
