Business in the City of Camrose

In this article, I will tell you a little bit about the city I live in, the City of Camrose. It's a great place to live and work - just the right size with all you need. There are actually two music stores in town, and I teach guitar at one of them.

The city of Camrose is located about 90 kilometres south east from Edmonton, the capital of Alberta. Camrose is a small city of about 17,000 and it continues to grow.

Camrose is located in a transitory region of Alberta, called aspen parkland. The city is a very important economic centre for small farming communities in the surrounding area.

Camrose has three local newspapers; The weekly Camrose Canadian, the weekly Camrose Booster and the small daily publication called Camrose Morning News.

The city has its own local television station, which is mostly used for advertising.

Camrose also has two radio stations, 790 CFCW and CAM-FM. Both stations are owned by Newcap Broadcasting.

Camrose is a great place to do business with business. Here you will find a very dynamic business community which is ready to work with you. Contact the City Of Camrose Economic Development Officer if you have business inquiries.
