E Major Scale Diagram

To make it easy to follow the notes of the Major scale, here is a neck diagram showing you all the notes of the E Major Scale.

The indicators on the notes refer to the Intervals, or Scale Degrees. The Root note, or Tonic, is represented with the red dot.

So how do you practice all these notes? The answer is you break up this info into different areas on the neck.

Do it in several ways. Practice a few notes at a time on one string, then on two strings, then all the notes on one string, etc. Make up patterns, play it in one area of the neck using 3 notes per string, etc. Be creative!

Always know which interval you are on. Always. Don't guess - KNOW. That means practice and repetition. You can do it.

See these videos below to learn how to make the scales work for you.
