Hell Guitars

Hell Guitars is a new brand of guitars currently being launched. I have been lucky enough to get my hands on a prototype, and I am liking what I'm seeing and playing. The model I have here is called the No. 2 and it is a Telecaster style guitar. I have taken some photos of it so you can have a closer look.

I am honestly quite stunned how it good sounds. I love the feel of it, but the TONE - it's wicked good.

The guitar features Bare Knuckle pickups, Grover tuners and very good bridge. The neck is very comfortable and the fretboard radius is quite flat, so it has a "modern" feel to it.

The frets are medium to thin; not quite vintage thin though. At first, I thought they were on the small/thin side, but after 30 minutes of playing, I started to really like the feel of the frets. They are nicely polished and the set up is just about perfect.

My first reaction after playing this guitar through my amps is that I have very few guitars that can compete in tone. In fact, I told the builder that I feel only my Suhr Classic can compare. Yes, that is how good I feel this guitar sounds. It rings very clear all over the neck, and it can go from twang to jazz to blues to rock, and anything in between.

I have recorded a demo for you, so you can hear what it sounds like through a Marshall JVM410 on the Crunch channel (orange mode) - no pedals used. I used an Avatar 2x12 cabinet with Eminence Wizard speakers. Keep an eye out for more videos of high gain and more rock tones.
