If you haven't heard Oz Noy, you are missing out on hearing a fantastic guitar player. I am a big fan of his music and style of playing. His funky style is very cool, and his improvisation is super cool. Sort of like bebop meets blues and rock with lots of weird and interesting tones.
He also has a new website up - Visit Oz Noy.com.
Oz was born in Israel. He started playing guitar at the of 13 playing jazz, blues, pop and rock music. By age 16, he was playing with top Israeli musicians and artists.
