P2 cards are getting cheaper

The prices seem to be coming down on P2 cards. These cards are fast and reliable storage solutions for Panasonic camcorders. I just got a 64 GB P2 card for my Panasonic HVX200 and what a relief. I used to only have an 8 GB card, which means no more than 20 minutes of shooting time.

The Panasonic P2 cards have always been quite expensive, but they are starting to get down in price. You can now get a 64 GB P2 card for under $700.

These prices on P2 cards went down on BH Photo and Video sometime in February. In other words, if you have been thinking about getting a larger P2 card, this would be a great time do so! Whatever you do, DON'T go on eBay and buy the 5-600 dollar 32 GB cards listed there, when you can buy a card twice the size for under $700.

Amazon has these
