I'll be in Toronto Sep 23-27 2011 for tghe 10K road running championships. I have had a great running season so far, and won the Timex Road Race Series in Alberta. That got me on a trip to Toronto to run the 10 km road race championships, representing Alberta. I even get some money to help with flights and hotel! Quite unreal.
I am a Masters runner now (soon 42) and I guess I'm a competitive old fart. I'm enjoying the ride, so to speak, which won't be many more years!
If there are any Toronto readers here, perhaps someone would like to meet up for a beer or coffee on Sat or Sun night? Let me know if you are around and want to hook up!
I am going to look around to see if there's a good show I could catch. Let me know if you have any ideas.
I have never been in Toronto before. It's a big town, so I should be able to find something to do, aye!?
