: Input Time; What'll they think of next?

Well, looks like technology has made another stride in Guitarland. I guess there's a little somethin', somethin' for everybody. Can't afford more than one? Stick a "personality card" in th' one ya got! For th' folks that don't know, I just discovered these Fender American Deluxe Strat Plus guitars that have three interchangeable personality cards you can use to get the exact flavor of Strat tone you might want. These axes also come with N3 Noiseless pickups, fully solderless electronics and a compound-radius fretboard. Nice huh? It actually goes beyond all that with DIP switches that work differently depending on the personality card you're using. Ah, you'll see in th' vid! Enjoy ♫

  b. Add a forth pick up

Hey Zag,

I've checked that clip the day you posted a link, but left the comment for later, then completely forgot about it. A month at the seaside does miracles for memory. You just forget it all.

Yes ... I don't really understand the point of it. All the wirrings connections and whatever have much less impact than tone pot at half or at full. That's my approach at least. As far as I'm concerned it's only important guitar to be comfortable to play and to stay in tune.
