It's all kind of common sense advice. Still, I don't think it'd change anything. So many quality content, well produced clips ..., and nothing.
Also, millions of views do not guarantee any direct income. For example, in my case and as a global trend, only 1/10 - 1/5 of all views are monetized, and more than 1/2 of all views I get on one clip, and that clip is not a musical clip. As a matter of fact, out of +200 clips, only a couple are not musical, and that couple makes about 95% of earnings, 90% made by that above mentioned single one.

That drummer on a wrong gig, I saw his clip, millions did, we all know it is him, but the money from all the views went to that guy who published it. I don't think drummer had any chance to redirect the income to own pocket. The other drummer guy, Super Mario, 29 millions views .... I was not served an advert on watching ...

Further, as I read somewhere, clips from music (and entertainment?) category receive the least amount of advertising and what they receive ar4e the cheapest possible adds.

As advertising base for gigging and other band/ music related business, they do serve, but if your only gig is YT page, then ...
