Guitar Talk In General / Re: Do they exist?

Yes, their are called used Fenders and Gibsons.

Heck, I am aware we pay more for our gear than over there in the US, but I got my two Gibby MMs for £400 for the both of them

And I know that the new MMs and even the Jnrs can sell for less than $800 over there, because they are less than that over here.

I love the lower end Gibsons, they are easy to mod, tough as old boots and pure rock n roll

A used Fender MIA will cost you less than that too.

We in the UK have a couple of homegrown makers that will do you a UK made guitar for £450, which is less than $800.

There must be a US equivalent of Gordon & Smith guitars....?

Just signing in here as a new poster.

Been playing slide for many years now, and own a nice collection of electrics and resonators.

Including these two.

And I make and convert quite a few of these too

Gig every now and then in a soul band too, where my collection of electrics get regular outings.

Looking forward to posting on here, and joining in the discussions
