Electric Guitars / Re: NGD... 1959 Les Paul!

I'll see what I can do.  I don't have video, just audio.  But I'm no Robert, so don't expect much... I'll get something out soon...

Another song that doesn't get much love anymore, but should.

Sounded great!  Was that a carbon fiber 12 string?

Amplifiers / Re: Input Time! Tube Vibe from Solid State?
« on: August 24, 2014, 09:18:37 AM »
I recently picked up a Peavey Transtube Bandit 112 (red stripe USA model). First any only solid state amp that has excellent clean and overdrive tones.  Plus it cuts through the mix just find with a loud band.... I really like it.

As for the two amps you've mentioned, I haven't seen nor tried either one.

Resale value is worse then Gibson for sure.  But that's good because I can afford them!

Electric Guitars / NGD... 1959 Les Paul!

Ok, it's not really a 1959, but the great folks at Heritage Guitars did their best to recreate Peter Green's legendary Les Paul....

1959 neck profile ( range of .886 at the nut), c shape.  One piece mahogany body, near prefect book matched top, Seth Lover pickups, and Sperzel Tuners....

Dolphinstreet Lessons / Re: New course out on Vibrato - check it out
« on: July 31, 2014, 12:10:24 AM »
This is an excellent course!  I highly recommend it.  Vibrato adds a lot of "spice" to all genres of guitar playing.. You can't go wrong with a teacher like Robert!

I find it cool, yet expensive.  I have found Warmoth a much higher end more affordable route.

I love on boxing new stuff, but videoing it doesn't excite anyone.

Good stuff. Glad it's working for you.

Anyone try a Tech 21 Fly Rig V?  That looks cool to me.

Pedals and Effects / Re: Pedal Demos

I found the Digitech Bad Monkey is awesome and highly underrated. No matter what pedal you buy, you'll always sound like you. My pedal quest is over, gone through way too much only to find the cheap stuff can sound really good.  Always try before you buy.  Online videos are recorded by pros using pro gear, and most importantly Pro editing software.

Pedals and Effects / Re: Overdrive Pedal Inquiry

I believe they are because the pedals are designed to push preamp tubes into distortion.  Solid state amps aren't affected the same way.

Pub Talk / Re: What does religion mean to you?

I wonder what the world would be like if there was no religion....
