Brown Eyed Girl

The recent lesson called Mixolydian - Sliding Run gives the same pattern used in the intro to Brown Eyed Girl, if you play it all on the E and B strings.  However, Robert gives the lesson in E Mixo, so you would have to play the song in E.  It is usually shown in G (Robert's version of the song plays it all above the 12th fret - I learned it all on the E and B, just like his Mixo lesson - moved up 3 frets.)
You could transpose his lesson to G and then you have the pattern included for the intro to the song in G, or use his lesson as is, and play the song in E.
If you listen to the original song, besides some keyboard, the guitar is not strumming, but may be playing patterns similar to Robert's Mixo lesson.  If anyone knows how to do this, or what the guitarist is playing to "comp" the song, I would like to know.
