I am definitely interested. I think it's time for me to get a Fender Strat for the ultimate blues tone. Maybe this guitar is it?

I especially like the jumbo frets and the vintage tremolo. Finally!

Yes, I tried this model out.  I was very, very impressed with it.  The Texas Specials, jumbo frets.... Yep, it was a real blues machine!  The only, and I mean only issue I have with this guitar is purely cosmetic... the 70's headstock... If you don't mind it, then you're golden... I was looking for a used model when I stumbled across my American Standard with Texas Specials...

I confess. I too have the cosmetic issue, and to think it was the other way 'round at one time.

I don't mind the headstock. I'll try out this guitar as soon as I get a chance.

My local store has a couple of older Am Standards too, and they are tempting as well. They cost more though, and have the 2 point tremolo I do not like.

I didn't think I was gonna like the 2 point tremolo at first until I got one. Now I have one of each.... a 6 pt. and a 2 pt. I can live with both. No biggie.

Tremolo's don't bother me as I don't use them... I keep my tremolo's blocked or flush to the body.
