« on: November 08, 2012, 04:27:04 PM »
Wondering if anyone has an idea of the value of this 1985 St Blues Bluesmaster II?
Serial #05532

It is in pretty close to New condition and I am considering selling it.

I would appreciate any help that you can provide.

I could not figure out how to make the pictures smaller using the [IMG] tag so I provided the links instead.

Thank you

They are made in Tennessee, highly regarded guitars and the value would be somewhere in the $950 to $1100 range easily.  Guitar Center has a used one that is price dropped to $1300, but that means its been sitting unsold for a long time.

The company made 2500 guitars in the mid to late 80's before shutting down until a few years ago.

Albert King and Eric Clapton uses them...

Great reviews on this guitar, but current value is a little hard to determine, and yours was the first year of commercial production. The original St. Blues company produced/marketed 1985-89.

Have you thought about contacting the current company?
