Greetengs from Serbia
« on: December 14, 2012, 11:55:03 AM »
i'm 45. Don't play too much, practice even less. When I play, it's not in style, I just try to fit the notes, but most of the time it's a blues of a kind.

I've got 2 guitars, both Squiers.
1. Telecaster '86 MIJ, E series. I boght it February 1987.
2. X-155, hollowbody, Jazzbox, bought it about a year ago.

Recently I adopted a couple of new hobbies:

1. uploading clips to youtube. Those clips include my playing, or my music (programed), so you can expect quite a few.
2. Joining forums. Too much time on my hands, I guess, appart from really not diggin Fakebook and alike.

Hi Vladan, welcome!

By the way, I think I speak for all here when I say that we all just try to fit the notes! :)

Welcome Vladan!

My former guitar teacher used to play bass in a blues rock band, and here's one of the songs they recorded...consider it as a welcome present!
'told me they really enjoyed touring there!  ;)

Those look really nice! Lots of tonal options, more so with the Roland system on the Tele...

You're correct, although I got them both mainly for their looks.

I have this Tele for 26 years (will be this February), and it's all stock, except for the bridge. This new one, i cut through so GK3 could sit lower, on the wood, so action could be lower. However, some frets are pretty worn out, other are basicaly untouched, so I can't bring it really low.  Also, low E string I can not adjust to intonate, no matter how far I back the saddle, it's aalways hi on 12th, compared to harmonic.

X155 I have for about a year. I think it's realy good. However, I do not play it too often due acoustical loudness (I usualy play late at night, at home, in a flat,...). i've recorded couple of tunes with it (I've posted them in Good music part of a forum, from my Youtube channel). Surprisingly, I loved it distorted on a gig. No amp, Boss SE70 to PA, no feedback ...
