Pedalboard signal chain sequence
« on: December 01, 2010, 01:47:20 PM »
I ran across this on my Facebook page and thought I'd pass it along. Maybe it'll be useful to some on this forum.

I don't use individual boxes very often since I got into my Boss GT-5, but even some multi units allow the user to specify the signal chain sequence.

I agree with DB...everyone wants to find their own sound, that's part of the fun. Sometimes you get the sound you were looking for by breaking all the rules!

I plan on slowly adding some pedals.  Its a matter of money rather than time, but I'll get there!

I like using my wah after a distortion pedal. Best thing is to try and see what works for you. However, I think delay works best at the end of the chain, and chorus too.

Couldn't agree more Robert.  Haven't tried the wah after the distort pedal though... sounds interesting to at least try.
