Very good german guitars ;)

The "cheapest" ones are 1.000 on this side of the pond, so I guess you don't have all the catalogue available...

Here's the original site : http://duesenberg.de/en/home.html

There are even guitars with a metallic layer on the table...

Yeah, they are very nice guitars. Not my style but they are well made and priced accordingly.

Those are classy, semi-boutique guitars.  Very pricey, not sure if they are worth the coin, but they do seem nice.  I guess I'd have to play one to decide it they are indeed worth it...

If those are "semi-boutique", I'd hate to hear (or see) the price of full-out boutiques. BTW, the Fullerton model I played around on was really nice. If I had the dough to spend on one, I don't think I ever would.

What I mean by boutique is they aren't a big custom shop or radical design.... They take original designs and add some classy appointments.  But they are somewhat mass produced, most boutique builders do small batches and limited runs/designs... I put them up there with PRS and Gibson CS.

Couple of months ago I happened to be in Munich and I saw them live in one shop. I did not do the real thing (play), but did watch and touch. Must say, they look better in picture. AFAIC, it was slight disappointment. I liked near by Gretches much better. YMMV.
