Japan, sorry to sound like I'm a worry bird here
« on: August 20, 2013, 06:59:59 PM »
One reason it is taking so long to clean up the mess at Fukushima is that it is really out in no mans land and housing to sleep the workers in is not all that available. The helpers are of "well, even the homeless men" don't want any part of doing it now these days. The fact is, there is a shortage of manpower, but you won't here it in the news. You know, economics, no foreigner visitors would really want to come to Japan, if the truth was really told. And all the underground paper reports are treated as "its all hogwash" where are they getting this info, well, from the past employes who were working at the plant.  Here's today article. The video was banned in Japan, but I think elsewhere you can see it.  With all seriousness, I'm not sure if I'd really want to be eating at sushi houses anymore. Not because of the fish maybe caught within 300 miles of the plant, but who is testing the fish for human consumption. Mixed stories on this.

Neither in France...Generally, it means that 'someting's cooking' :P

The 'funniest' being that you can have info and videos on the French TV, which is supposed to be monitored by authorities, but are not allowed to view it through the Internet, which supposed to be a space of freedom :o

I got the message here and that situation is a real mess to say the least. There is plenty of reason for concern.

Plays OK in the US. Surprised it doesn't play in the UK since it is a BBC report!
