Appart from killing blues guitar, she's unable to sing a wrong note. Wow!

On her 3rd album now (though that's veered into rock rather than blues unfortunately).

One of the best of the new younger British blues guitarists and singers. "White Sugar" her debut album is particularly excellent.

You did not mention her name, but I did some research ..., and found this first sentence of an article ...

Quote
While producer Dave Stewart has produced Orianthi’s current album Heaven in This Hell, he is also responsible for discovering yet another guitarist.

Eversince I've heard of him, since Eurhythmics, over Shaekspear's sister, ...., *, and his solo work, I always found our tastes were on about same lines. No wonder I liked this girl from the 1st moment.

* Even Travellin' Willburys. In his own words:
Quote
“I was busy doing quite a few things in England,” Stewart says. “That Wilburys thing happened really quickly. It all took place around my kitchen table and in my garden. I introduced everybody, went off, and when I came back they had already done it.”

Yeah - I should have said Joanne Shaw Taylor.  :-[

Discovered by Dave Stewart when she was 16. Sensibly waited till she was age 23 for the first album.

Idolised SRV for a long time - which shows in her playing on the first two albums. The third album she's starting listening to rock instead so it's a very different album and she's swapped the trademark Tele for a Les Paul. A loss for us blues fans.

Live versions of a couple of instrumental tracks off that debut album:-

and showing why she's son Best British Blues Vocalist Awards:-

In addition to my second post, I only now realised the title of my post is title of Eurythmics song. Are there any accidents at all?

I know her and listen to her a lot, and I must admit, she's good! She can play, she can sing, she can hold her audience and all. Maybe she should try a little less notes sometimes? she seems quite constantly on the edge, I think...

But great job anyway!
