Almost a new Guitar Day
« on: October 22, 2013, 10:11:22 PM »
A little while ago, I had purchased a used Squier Custom II from a friend that rescued it.  It's finish was in bad shape, so I thought I'd give it more of a 70's look than what it had.  Since I loved a Reverend Guitar I tried out with mini Filtrons, I went to Guitar Fetish and bought theirs.  Not really a new guitar, might as well be now...

Nice job! I think the operation was a success. It sounds like a fun project. The soundbites sound great. And it looks great.

If I understand the pictures it was originally black and you stripped it down and changed to the mini filtertrons... Am I correct?

Yes, that's what I did.  Stripped off the finish, replaced the pickups, and there you go...
